[More seriously now] Kyoto-based ACIDピュンピュン丸 [ACID Pyunpyun Maru] presents the third in his Exploration series of EPs and his début release on finestylewest, an Osaka-based label and regular event focusing on promoting Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara) and Shikoku producers.

As his name would imply APPM is an absolute acid fiend, regularly tearing up sets at his home base of Café La Siesta in Kyoto, where your author on multiple occasions could have sworn he was experiencing Hardfloor at the peak of their powers.

This EP focuses on a theme of space exploration and travel, the sound of a square wave asteroid hurdling, destination unknown, across the glacial void of time and space. Stone cold this one, absolutely for the heads. On the remix Osakan finestylewest stalwart IDATEN delivers a typically perky and delightful Namco-core flip of Central engine.

The second summer of love has begun.
